1 : 1 Tuition Sessions

Bespoke maths lessons to identify and fill knowledge gaps of individual students. Suitable for Year 3 to Year 7 children (7-12 years old)
Cost: £157 per calendar month (£45 per 45 min session)

Year 5-7 Small Group Tuition Sessions

I support a group of up to 4 pupils with their own individualised work
1 session per week
Cost: £90 per calendar month
(£26 per session per child)
Term time only
Payable monthly in advance
Sessions run from September until April
Thursdays: 15.30-16.15 and 16.20 - 17.05

2 : 1 Tuition Sessions

I support 2 pupils with their own individualised work. Suitable for Year 3 to Year 7 children (7-12 years old)
1 session per week
Cost: £119 per child per calendar month
(£34 per child for 45 min lesson)

Patra Ekkel here - mum of one boy and a very friendly ginger cat. With an MA in Public Services, a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching, Personal Finance Coaching experience and Accounting qualifications MAAT MIP, I bring a wealth of expertise to my maths tutoring.

Following a three-month work experience at a secondary school back in 2007, I decided that a full-time teaching position was not suitable for me due to my aversion to the school's protocols and the classroom noise.

So I started tutoring, supporting children in maths, EFL (English as a foreign language), law and citizenship. Currently, I only tutor maths on a part-time, self employed basis, alongside accounting work and personal finance coaching.

My lessons are hands-on, interactive and fun, using games and manipulatives to make numbers come alive for 7-12 years old children.

Outside work, you can find me exploring my passions for psychology, spirituality and ethics, or enjoying the great outdoors, theatre, cinema and restaurants.
